The thing is, they want to monitor all mosques, not just those known for preaching hate (if there are even any still left being stupid enough to do so openly). I’m fairly certain sane Christians wouldn’t be okay with their churches being the targets of the kind of mass surveillance the wingnuts want on mosques.
