‘Mad Magazine’ editor Al Feldstein dead at 88: bit.ly

Thank you Mr. Feldstein for a good part of my early education and helping me see things in ways “normal” media just didn’t offer in the early 60s and on.

I won’t hold against you the fact that my parents were called and all hell broke out when one of your publications was found in my desk in 5th grade in Sister Freida’s home room. It was worth it, especially when my dad’s reaction was…”they got me out of work for this!” Yeah, dad was upset…for me taking it to school and sharing it with my buddies. He said I should have known it would upset the nuns and my mom. Outside that, he thought some of it was pretty funny too.
