Maybe we should send the gun fetishists to field artillery school or a bomb range, or demonstrate a claymore mine or the Ginsu Hellfire for them, so they can learn that small arms are not some kind of ultimate weapon. In the overall scheme of things, civilian small arms are pipsqueak weapons, suitable for killing dumb animals or other civilians. They are all too good at that though.
