States that have shut down once already will be hard pressed to shut down again as cases climb. Heck, Cuomo’s taking heat for threatening to shut down the Hamptons and Manhattan after the lack of social distancing and protocol violations seen in videos and photos from over the weekend.

He’s right to do so, and it’s as if people have the attention span of a gnat. The pandemic isn’t done. We just got some time before the ICUs fill to capacity again. It’s still there.

And in the musician community…some of my friends are on Facebook, crying about how ‘protesters are allowed to gather by the thousands, but I can’t play my gig.’

I actually had to tell one of them to sit the fuck down this morning. Your gig is just not that fucking important, dude.
