I like and really respect that mom. A few open handed slaps that came really from raw fear for the kids life are completely understandable. After all none of that looked at all likely to cause the kid any injury worse than a little red skin like ya get in a game and never even notice. What spoke to me was the desperation in her voice. That drove her anger. If A slap from mom avoids a Baltimore police bullet, fine by me.

Her reaction, tho, should not be used as an excuse for domestic abuse —which it probably will be by the “spare the rod” Whackos.
