Extrapolate the implementation of such a policy just a few years into the future, healthcare costs dominated by care for zero hope patients with no cognitive ability whatsoever and coma wards as a growth industry. Imagine nearly every family having a brain dead relative in the hospital. The family unable to bury them or move on, haunted unnecessarily by the unthinking husk of a loved one sustained artificially and against their will on life support.

GOP policy, taken to it’s logical conclusion, is some incredibly cold shit.

I can hardly imagine a more nightmarish, dystopian future. It’s incredibly cold shit, as you put it, but it would make for one hell of a dystopian sci-fi film.
