I’ve said it before and it bears repeating: you know the NFL is messed up when NASCAR has a better concussion protocol. E.g. Kurt Busch, who got a concussion in practice in August and is now out for the rest of the year.

Maybe the NFL needs a grotesque, on the field death to convince them that safety is paramount. (I’m referring to Dale Earnhardt’s death in 2001.)
