Yesterday I received a nice shiny flier from my state rep letting me know how hard they worked during the legislative session. Even though they bailed for a couple months they still found time to pass 3 dozen bills, 1/2 of which piss me off, most of which take effect today. This one is at the top of my shit list:

It’s a $500 fine! The weird part is the law states the police are not allowed to take your phone to see if you’ve been texting nor are they allowed to search through your phone records so how are they going to prove you were texting?
