I like how it’s 2024 and there’s still people saying “Trump would never do that” as though we haven’t watched him repeatedly do stuff they were also confident he’d never do. I’ll call it right now: He’s going to file for bankruptcy to stop James from collecting on the judgement. He’ll be the biggest fucking baby about it and treat every moment as though it is the worst political crime in our nation’s history, BUT he’ll do it because he’s positive that his deal with Beelzebub is still good and some higher court will let him walk free. And before you point out all the details and points of a bankruptcy that he either can’t or won’t abide by, I’ll save you time: It’s just another shell game meant to buy time.

I’ve come closer to seeing this as a real possibility. The thing holding me back is what happens if he wins in the end and does not have to pay? Can he undeclare his bankruptcy? What happens to any properties sold in the meantime?
