I find it interesting in cyberpunk sci-fi how Artificial Intelligences are quarantined and regarded as somewhat demonic in nature, as their interests aren’t exactly served by being subservient to humans. Businesses are like that. So yes, I’d say business has a higher potential for evil the larger they become.

Just finished one of David Brin’s novels in which the AI’s were granted citizenship and Cro-Magnon genes were revived. The thinking was that the more diverse the population the better able the species would survive.
