While I appreciate the sentiment, calling the US a sewer is fucking uncalled for. There are a lot of people trying to fix shit. No country is perfect and ours sucks right now, but honestly, WTF?

I took the liberty of reading more into Lupin’s comment, that is, “sewer” wasn’t meant to describe the entire US, just the cheeto-benito-enabling parts (which, unfortunately, are the ones with all the power & influence right now -_- )

I’m also boycotting all travel to the US until this insanity subsides (and in my case, I have genuine personal safety concerns - I’m of South Asian descent, and both random bigots plus the police feel emboldened to harass and even murder people who look like me)
