I frankly want to strangle JD Vance, but this is the deal—this is the same thing so many Evangelicals believe as well. If you don’t marry, if you don’t have kids, you’re not a Real Adult. On top of that, there’s a whole belief especially put on women that we failed as women because we didn’t marry and pop out children, which is our only role in this world. FUCK THAT NOISE.

I don’t think JD Vance was saying that the childless (like you and me) should lose their franchise but rather that people with children should get one additional vote per child. The Washington Post has a column suggesting this approach may not work out the way he expects. OTOH Vance is a liar and doesn’t believe this — he’s just trying to win a primary against others who are equally dishonest — and believes the best liar wins.
