We do draw boundaries, though. We have a lot of speech that’s criminalized, from simple pornography in a lot of places to volume regulation in most places, to laws against lying in certain ways about other people, etc. It’s not true that we can’t draw the boundary; we’ve already drawn a lot of boundaries with hate speech.

I don’t want to prohibit Gellar’s speech in general, but I do think that the MTA, as an agent of the public and the government, can and should limit the speech they allow advertised. I mean, I’m sure they’d already disallow hardcore porn from appearing; there are rules in place already.
