I make my own with sour cream and liptons onion soup mix, much fresher tasting than any of the pre-packaged stuff I have tried. That being said, it is still necessary to “double-up” your Pringles if trying to dip with them. Ridged Ruffles are obviously the preferred alternative where it comes to dipping into anything other than thin fondue.

“Dipping” pringles works just fine. They snap when people scoop enormous wads of dip onto them——-I know because I am one of the greedy scoopers. At social functions I become a demure dipper out of shame…
