Smell test? Ummm, not really. Union Pacific operates lines all the way up to Duluth Minnesota and has significant track ownership throughout Texas, Oklahoma, and Kansas.

BSNF has lines throughout the Central Plains and Northwest too, but they don’t own all the lines exclusively.

Central Pacific actually has lines that run up into Canada. Not BNSF. CN also operates in Canada.

So, the effort to gin up a conspiracy doesn’t actually pass the smell test. Shocking, I know.
