I didn’t defend this stupid ‘fabrications’ line when it came out and I’m not going to try to justify it now. Mr. Williamson was wrong to go after Charles and he deserves to get the online backhand for it. Upding to Charles for giving said backhand.

That said, I’m not going to post further on this thread. My doing so would just be contentious and not fun for all concerned, especially given that we were talking about Nation Review on the previous thread.

I’ll still try to read the replies to this post, though. And I will not downding any comment on this thread unless it insults me personally. Give Mr. Williamson everything he deserves and more. I’ll catch you folks on the next thread or on the Page I’m planning to put up (which will not be about NR, I promise).

I hate to badger but I really do not get what it is about NRO that inspires such defense of you. They clearly have contempt for Charles and what Charles stands for. And I’ll say this again loudly, NRO does not give two shits about you, they only care about the conservative movement and polishing up that turd through taux intellectual crap. Really dude, open your eyes, these people suck. It’s not just Williamson. It started with Buckley and it’s not going to change.
