Nice to know that “Republican establishment people” realize that it would be very, very bad for the country if Sarah Palin were to have a “major role” in any presidential administration.

Fine, people in the Republican establishment. How about SPEAKING UP?

It frustrates me that more Republicans don’t speak up and say that Sarah Palin is not qualified for high office. It’s only when it seems that there’s a chance she REALLY MIGHT get such an office (e.g. head the Environmental Protection Agency in a Gingrich administration) that they speak up.

Because they’ve got enough trouble without being identified as the part poopers who keep pulling the rug out from under the Very Popular Mrs. Palin, and Newt, The Arouser of the Keepers of Civilization.

Look at the way conservatives who criticized her even AFTER the election got savaged.

Although I think the Bushes were sending a message when Barbara Bush made her poisonous little comment about Sarah. Sarah ignored that, of course.
