I can understand the Castle Doctrine and it makes some sense, but extending it to everywhere doesn’t - which is what SYG and this bill propose to do. When everyone has guns, no one is truly safe. Just witness all the shootings involving supposedly good guys with guns (self-inflicted, accidental, etc.) along with the suicides and homicides that total more than 30,000 a year.

In fact, gun deaths are close to exceeding the number of vehicular deaths in the US.

We’ll have to adjust for that by arming cars.

Once all the people have guns the NRA and manufacturers will need to find a new market to exploit.
