Parts of Breezy Point simply aren’t there any more. And you can repeat that for entire towns and communities up and down LI and NJ Shore.

There’s still parts of NJ inaccessible because of damage.

Looking at the photos it reminds me of the tsunami, though obviously that involved much greater loss of life.
