They really have no idea what they’re doing. They probably thought that the other campaigns would just stick it out indefinitely like Bernie’s. Second campaign in a row that Bernie will lose to a “terrible candidate.” Maybe 78 year old backbenchers who aren’t even Democrats from lily white states whose default personality is grumpy aren’t good presidential candidates.

It looks like the Bernie campaign staff forgot that the other campaigns weren’t full of grifters with nowhere else to go, and actually were concerned with the goals of the Democratic Party as a whole.
