So one thing I’m confused about is:

If the GOP really does fall under Bachmann’s control and goes “BBA or bust!”, what does Obama do? Or what can he do?

A president with a backbone would call the GOP’s bluff and tell them where to stick their bill. But Obama? My inner cynic tells me if the bill ends up on his desk, he’ll sign it, just to say he avoided default.
