So Michigan extended shelter-at-home to May 15 today.

The state fired off Emergency Notifications via the ENS - what was spooky is that I have a phone that has no SIM in it - and it displayed the notification.

It’s part of the euro-weenie GSM specification — emergency services (alerts, 911 calls &c) must work, even if you have no sim, or don’t know the unlock code.
