The teabaggers/wingnuts get more power than their own numbers justify by taking over the GOP. They aren’t going to leave the GOP voluntarily, especially since this project is going well for them

I think the war within the party will play out another election cycle or 2. The fact is until the fringe get their candidate nominated for the Presidential contest, they will always say “I told you so”. They need to get to the big dance and lose badly before they will back down and take their circus in the direction of a 3rd party IMHO.
