Back in the 80s, the Pentagon was teaching itself a new combined arms concept called AirLand Battle. The metaphor was “WWII was football, AirLand is soccer”.

Yet somehow we found ourselves playing Rollerball, going round and round in circles while periodically getting donkey punched. Also, we’re not playing the awesome original version either, but the absolute travesty of a remake.
