Not to be snarky (and you probably knots it) — but Heinlein said it first, and he was being facetious to the extreme.

Back when I was a Glibertarian, Lee Rodgers from AM560 KSFO said it all the time. Even on radio I could tell he was smirking. He was being serious.

I realize now he meant ‘an armed society of rich white people is a polite society of everybody else knowing their place.’ Maybe I’m jaded but I see 2A fanatacism as imbued with white supremacy.
