Some additional background.

She was indicted on misdemeanor charges and needed to post $500 in bail. She couldn’t make bail, so she was sent to Rikers. They didn’t apparently have her meds, and it apparently led to her death.

And apparently they now deserve to be sued out the ass for this.

Which I wholeheartedly support.
