It isn’t even close. A whopping 84% of Israelis want Netanyahu gone, and that includes many in his own party, some of whom are already publicly discussing the day after his inevitable post-war departure. Likud is currently staring into the abyss that is a staggering political crash not seen in decades (losing half its parliamentary power at best). This was reinforced in the past week after Israel finally had its municipal elections - postponed several times since October - and the Bibi-supporting parties all suffered badly across the country.
The asshole is on borrowed time solely due to a broad national view that “it’s bad to have elections during a war”, which he’s been taking advantage of.
