Actually, some didn’t get as much as they expected (8-10” was predicted in the eastern part of the state) and we got a bit more, about 1-1/2.

It was a very fine snow that came down slowly, and would have been considered a “mist” if it had been raining. I went to bed about 10, and there was more this am, so it might have continued past the 11 pm they said it would continue to. It’s not sticking together, either, I just checked—bummer, no snowballs. : )

Yeah, it’s a pretty fine snow, but there’s enough of it that the mayor was just on TV saying schools might be closed through til next week because of the difficulty of plowing all the neighborhoods enough for buses to get through.
