OK, let me get this straight. UpChuck is going to hold auctions for “exposing the media frauds.” He’s going to ask the public for money to expose, say, Radley Balko (whom I admire at the moment for his Ferguson reporting). How much money will that take? Are other journalists more valuable? “This auction is for Brian Williams, I’ll need way more money than when I exposed Dave Weigel, Pony up!”

The whole concept is a stupid fever dream. I mean, did I explain it correctly? What the fuck is an auction to expose journalists?
