Hyde-Smith is running neck-and-neck with Mike Espy in the special election (there’s another Republican in the field, if nobody gets 50%+1, then it goes to a runoff). Both are around 27%, another 27% are undecided, and about 20% or so are voting for the GOP spoiler. I doubt we get so lucky as to see Democrats win Senate seats in both Alabama and Mississippi, but it would be amazing.

There’s a special election before the election in November, or a special election for a Senator who will not have to run again until 2020 or 2022?
