John has one. Do what you need to get one put in place. It’s a very valuable tool to make sure she get’s all the help she can. Push them hard to get one, then have, at minimum, quarterly meetings with the school on plans and measurables (which should be in the IEP.).

If you want to ask questions, my email is blue. I’m not sure how applicable our experience is, but whatever I can help with I’d be happy to try.

We just got the ball rolling yesterday afternoon, and the person we needed was out sick today. We’ve already got the authorization thru our healthcare to get her initial assessment done whenever we want, but I want to see what the school will do before I schedule her appointment. I don’t want to duplicate or use up any benefits I might have and find out later the school needed it done a specific way to get her the help she needs.
