I think I have more respect for the idiots who think Creationism is real because there’s no evidence for Evolution than for a guy who basically says ‘Evolution is true but I choose not to believe it’. Ignorance can be ameliorated with teaching. Willful denial of reality? Not so much.

This might be a distinction without a difference. The claim that there is no evidence for evolution is effectively a willful denial of reality.
