IMHO the R party is over over over.
I go to a bar every friday night, with friends.

The mood there is one of absolute pissedness at the powers that be for the economic mess the country is in. People are hurting. They know that they have been done bad by the people at the top. And for better or worse, the Republicans are identified with the fat cats. The R party is going to be shut out for a long time.

And if we want any of the sensible, conservative ideas to have any influence, they will have to be put forward by some new party.
