Some people become police because they are noble and upright citizens who want to defend the weak and dispense justice on the unlawful. Some people become police because they get off on telling other people what to do. Unfortunately, the latter category are usually pretty good at hiding it until after they get the job.

Exactly. Sociopaths are very good at getting thru the psych testing and such. It’s a scary thing. Especially, when they attempt to become part of the Judicial system. Or the Executive, Legislative Systems. Or Religious Organizations …
