I recently went to an expensive steak house for Mother’s Day. (No, with my mom and grandma, asshole. Not because I’m a “mother fucker”./)
Anyway. High priced, but damned if it wasn’t excellent. Reading their menu, I see that they grill their steaks with almond wood.
It just so happens that I have a small stack of that in my garage, leftover from winter heating. I can’t wait to grill some Tri-Tip with that. I’m salivating just thinking about it.
