You know my story was always different.. I lived in foster homes till I was 12.. I fought playing sports…I had little control…Trust me..I had issues…
You know what saved my life? Getting adopted by awesome folks.. My Mom was a great woman’s golfer and played ball with us kids all the time in the yard…One Time.. And this is Honest to God.. We were playing baseball and I got pissed off and threw a tandrum looking to fight somebody…
Mom called me over.. Follow me..Behind the House.. And she took me up by the scruff of the neck against the wall and told me that no son of hers would ever be a bad sportsman.. She was in my face…It was intense and there were tears and words..Changed my life.. I was so proud to have her watch me play in college.. My mom was quite the athlete..
I am what I am as a man because of her…Thanks Mom
