If I read the article correctly, the ex of the “guilty party” (I see what you did there, and I love it) is currently having an affair with the shooter, and it was her refusal to give up custody of their kids that brought him to the doorstep that fateful day.

And now the kid(s?) saw or heard dad get shot to death by Moms boyfriend? My god that’s so life scarring for them.
