The NYPD tantrum seems to be carrying over to actual public safety. The Post is reporting that there’s been a 66% decline in arrests as the NYPD is engaging in a virtual work stoppage.

The NYPD is putting the public’s safety at risk. Plain and simple. Because the mayor dared speak the name racial profiling and that people of color, like his son, are racially profiled and need to be careful around cops, who do treat minorities differently.

Heck, the NYPD’s own black and Latino cops find themselves racially profiled when off-duty. They see it first hand.

I would love to be a fly on the wall and see what today’s PBA/SBA and mayor meeting will be saying behind closed doors.
