Personally he is. From a governing perspective, not really. We have very little tolerance for right wing social engineering here in Canada. The base line is established. Our centrist position is well to the left of yours. IN fact it is to the left of your Democratic centrist position. So when Harper tries to push the envelope he he really trying to get to your middle.
