Is it a popular or unpopular opinion to say I think hairless vaginas are GROSS? Grown women trying to make their bits look childish is just… gross.

(also, hot wax is bad enough on my lower legs. No way in hell am I allowing it near my most sensitive spots.)

Well, not being a woman and all, I don’t know what sort of opinion I should have on that sensitive subject.

I look at it like shaving anything else, whether it’s women shaving legs or men shaving beards. Wanna do it? Fine. Don’t wanna do it? Fine.

Fun fact (putting on erotic Romance editor hat): Shaving down there did not originate from trying to look prepubescent.

It originally came from moral scolds who were trying to outlaw nude photography after cameras were starting to become popular.

Because they couldn’t bring themselves to say things like “vulva” in legislation (see also Michigan Republicans recently chiding a state Democratic legislator for using the same word), they wrote laws prohibiting the showing of “pubic hair” (which also included armpits).

Shaving those areas became the way to get around those laws.
