It provided for the extra training needed that got Mr BWS the really great job that he has now (and he was an unemployed over-50 worker at the time). We certainly will not forget what a wonderful thing ARRA did for us.
The GM bailout did it for me. I was an over-50 unemployed tech worker, the only jobs I could find after the Great Outsourcing after Y2K were short term temp contracts.
Here’s a weird fact: I was Googling “Green Jobs” since I was told this was the Job Of The Future.
