The thing I do ain’t new. It’s an old school Mexican thang, but it was new to me a few years ago.
Soaked in cold water for at least an hour, husks on.
Grilled for a bit with husks covering, then at the last bit with husks peeled back.
Brushed with a mixture of mayo, butter, and lime juice, then dusted with chili powder and parmesan.
Y’all can eat all the pie, cake, and ice cream you want. I’ll take an ear of that for my desert, thank you very much.
