The idea of an abortion ban, IIRC is to control female sexuality.

By “forced pregnancy” I mean more specifically “forced to remain pregnant once pregnancy has started” (which is the specific aim of an abortion ban).

These days there is enough creepy RW crap about denial of contraception that a broader reading of “forced pregnancy” is certainly possible.
