There are opportunities for debates that fizzle out when some people jump to conclusions without reading posts. But it’s still worth a try. One example was when I tried to encourage people to join the Republican Party. I wasn’t trolling and I made some arguments, but those arguments were largely ignored and the discussion pretty much went downhill.
