re: #39 lawhawk

It’s not just about this person, but I wonder about their claims that a vaccine may have caused harm to someone they know. If it’s as they say, did they file a claim with the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program? Because that’s where they would report the side effects, and gain compensation if it was indeed a vaccine that caused it.

But since we’re talking about almost dying - 145,000 die of measles worldwide every year. That number has come down due to vaccinations. These anti-vaxxers want to reverse it. They will add to the body count.

And even if no one dies, it can still mean hospitalization and added costs that are entirely preventable. Not just for the person getting vaccinated, but for anyone who can’t get vaccinated like infants and immune compromised, or the elderly.

These fuckers are messing with public health over junk science and pseudoscience. They ignore the consequences of not vaccinating, and it is taking major outbreaks to refocus attention on the anti-vaxxers and their harms.

Unfortunately, there are a lot of liars taking advantage of this issue for weird psychological reasons of their own, putting bullshit out there.

Check out the timeline of this person - serious craziness there. The story about her kid “almost dying” is probably a lie.
