Bummer… downtown is really coming alive… Lots of new living space, lots of old bars restored back to their 1930’s original luster. A few of them are Speakeasies with non obvious entrances.

I see things like that and assume that I couldn’t set foot inside the door for less than $100.

And once I did, I’d be surrounded by coked-up kids partying with Daddy’s money, and/or a million clones of that same desperate wannabe actress from Houston, who spent six years preparing for her big screen debut by dancing naked on a stage, and who eventually ends up realizing her celluloid dreams by going direct-to-video, co-starring in “Ten Miles of Tough Tongue” and “Not-So-Tiny Tim.” Hey, it’s work. You gotta keep working.
