No, but in public venues, if you are going to remove my right to defend myself, you need to provide proper security.

Guns do not give rights.

The ‘right to defend yourself’ has nothing to do with whether or not you get to have a gun. Guns are not magic fetishes that grant superpowers, rights, or life. They’re just dangerous objects which almost nobody is trained sufficiently in to have the power to kill people in everyday life. Carrying a gun doesn’t magically endow you with a ‘right to defend yourself’. It just makes you more of a danger to yourself and others.

Get over this delusional fantasy of ordinary citizens engaging in gun battles.
