I remember how GLEEFUL a former right-wing regular here was about the prospect of Ryan debating Joe Biden in 2012.

I am not sure I fully appreciated Biden’s political skills before that night. Ok, defeating Paul Ryan in a battle of wits was hardly a great feat, but Uncle Joe made it look effortless.

It was the MSM that christened Paul Ryan as a serious candidate who had serious proposals for dealing with the economy, instead of being the ignorant Ayn-Rand loving hack who wants to give tax cuts to the rich and pay for it by destroying the government social safety net.
