The party will have to moderate to accept him. Notice he picks out ‘prisoners and the mentally ill’ as deserving of his compassion, not poor people, which would get him kicked out of the party. I think my governor went for the Medicaid expansion because she believed if she didn’t she’d go to hell. If Kasich does get nominated, maybe Susana would be his running mate.
