So I’m on a troubleshooting call for a group of machines having connection issues and as we’re trying to figure out what the problem is, the server admin says he never bothered to read the set up instructions we sent him. He then goes on to insist that the problem must be something on our end.

I agree, our problem was thinking someone competent was on the other end of the call.
